In this 2-hour workshop, Anna will guide you through the basics of needle felting, everything you need to begin (and continue!) your felting journey. You’ll learn the core technique while creating a small project of your choice: an ornament, fridge magnet, or keychain. With the winter holidays approaching, you can dive into the festive spirit or draw inspiration from Anna’s Squamish lifestyle to design something more adventurous and winter spots themed. Perfect to keep or gift to someone special!

Step back into the 1930s to 1950s and make holiday cards filled with old-fashioned charm and quirky fun. You’ll create pop-up cards, fold origami stars, add light embroidery, and decorate with vintage photos, stamps, and magazine clippings. Stephanie and Avery will guide you through easy steps to make your cards unique and full of holiday spirit. You’ll also get to write your own vintage messages with fun, old fashioned phrases.

These courses takes the beginner student to the next level. Fundamental techniques like wet on wet and wet on dry will be reinforced and advanced techniques like glazing will be explored over the course of four sessions, participants will work on painting projects in a supportive and engaging atmosphere with other watercolor enthusiasts.
