This peaceful garden invites visitors to reflect, recharge, and embrace the nurturing synergy between learning and nature. This is a free public garden. 

Wheelchair Access  
This location is wheelchair accessible from the rooftop. The ramp from the main library is steep for wheelchairs. 
  
Accessible Washroom   
There is an accessible washroom available inside the library.  

Taking Public Transit  
This location is accessible by public transit.  

Driving  
There is street parking available directly in front of the library, along the side, and there is a parking lot on the west side of the building. Please note that availability may vary depending on the time of day.

Felting Flowers in the Garden
Led by visual artist Leanne Rockliff
12:00 PM & 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday
By donation (suggested: $5)
Join visual artist Leanne Rockliff for a hands-on felting workshop where you’ll learn how to use wool and felting needles to create your own beautiful felted flower. Each 30-minute session is beginner-friendly and includes all materials, with a rainbow of colours to choose from, to make a flower that’s uniquely yours. This interactive activity is perfect for anyone curious about fibre arts and creative moments in the garden.
Not suitable for children under 5. Ages 5–10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Leanne is a visual artist specializing in acrylic painting and mixed media works. With a deep connection to the urban environment and a love for travel, Leanne's art captures the essence of cityscapes and abstract forms through vibrant colors and dynamic compositions. After earning a BA and spending a decade in Finance, the path to becoming an artist was a long one for Leanne. Years of navigating the world of numbers eventually gave way to a passion for creativity. Today, she has built a diverse portfolio, exhibiting with The Federation of Canadian Artists, the North Shore Arts Council, Port Moody Arts Council and local businesses, where they resonate with the community. A key element to Leanne’s work is being committed to sustainability, often incorporating found materials into her art that would otherwise end up in landfills, giving them new purpose. This blend of creativity and environmental mindfulness defines her approach.

      Argel MDR (born Argel Monte de Ramos) is a Filipino-Canadian singer-songwriter and musical theatre performer based in Surrey, Canada. With a soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics, his music blends pop influences from artists like Sam Smith and One Republic with the emotional storytelling of Original Pinoy Music (OPM). His single Sail Away garnered attention on multiple Spotify editorial playlists, including Fresh Finds Philippines, and helped establish him as a rising talent. In 2021, he was nominated for Pop Artist of the Year and received the BIPOC Excellence Award at the Fraser Valley Music Awards. As a musical theatre performer, Argel has showcased his versatility in roles like Horton the Elephant in Seussical and Manager/Ensemble in Elf! The Musical, where he earned an Ovation Award for Outstanding Performance. His theatre background adds a unique, dramatic flair to his music, captivating audiences both on stage and in concert. An advocate for diversity and inclusion, Argel uses his platform to amplify the voices of marginalized communities.

      The Shorties are a contemporary folk trio inspired by influences in singer-songwriter, jazz, and R&B. The Shorties are grateful to make music on the unceded ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ / sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) nations. Cindy, Kaya and Sydney met while studying Jazz at Capilano University and quickly bonded over jam sessions, heart-to-hearts, and love of cheese (brie to be exact). Together they weave colourful harmonies with honest lyrics that are authentic to their experiences with anxiety, friendship, grief, and hope.

He has been writing and performing since the 80's, and has shared the stage with artists such as Jan Arden, 54-40, Colin James, Honeymoon Suite, and Matthew Good. With 3 albums under his belt now, Ranj has been performing over 200 shows a year as a solo artist. With his very unique voice, accompanied by his 2 alternate-tuned 12-string guitars, his genre of music is melodic and soothing, a combination of subtle Indian melodies with Western Folk and classic covers

      Barry plays all over BC at various farmers markets, breweries, vineyards, pubs, restaurants, casinos, craft shows, private events, senior residences or doing a charity fundraiser event. Barry brings energy and fun with rock, country, pop, celtic although he's comfortable crooning ballads as well. Having a large musical repertoire he can do tailored shows to fit an audience requirements. Major influences in his music are The Eagles, Tom Petty, America, The Beatles and so many others, but these rank near the top for him. The original music he's producing is striving to be along these lines. 3 cd's have now been released with a 4th in the works at this time.
