Tary Majidi continued her sculpting and modern art training in Vancouver since 2003 which further reflected 3D ideas into her paintings. Dina Majidi has a strong passion for art she started from early childhood and was part of AP Art. Her school held art shows and went to LaSalle College later to pursue the field of graphic design. Now Dina is a member of North shore art council. I use acrylic paint and mixed media. Art inspires me to express my feelings and I get an idea from people's feelings and nature. Doing art can help me be more happy and free of negativity. It helps me to enjoy the moment. From my imagination, I can paint and create art.

I am a local artist living in North Vancouver. My artistic approach blends abstract expressionism and modern impressionism, using bold colors, rich textures, and dynamic contrasts to evoke deep emotions. My work explores themes of mystery, power, and transformation, often fusing natural and cosmic elements with abstract forms. Through palette knife techniques and layered brushstrokes, I create a sense of movement and depth, making each piece feel alive.

Amanda and Ashley are a dynamic keys-and-guitar duo who first connected as fellow instructors at a private music school. Since then, they’ve been performing together around town, blending piano, guitar, and rich vocal harmonies to create a warm, engaging sound. Their sets feature a mix of original music and thoughtfully chosen covers, offering a fresh take on familiar favorites while showcasing their own heartfelt songwriting. What sets them apart is their experience performing and touring with their rock band, The Out Seer. When they’re not rocking out as a five-piece, they love embracing a more intimate, acoustic vibe as a duo.

With vastly contrasting solo releases, "Mergatroid" (2023) and the "Cloud" EP (2024), as well his band, Desert Friend's debut album "Lost Palms Oasis” (2024), Lucas has indicated an appetite and an aptitude for creating ambitious, unconventional art with a wide scope.

Music became Lucas Penner’s lifeline at eleven after moving to the Okanagan, grieving his grandma, navigating sexual trauma, and adjusting to the responsibilities of being the eldest of four siblings, including one with diverse abilities. Writing and recording helped Lucas find purpose, improve in school, and make friends.

Currently Lucas’ skills have lead him to compose for film, starting with Roark Critchlow’s (Days Of Our Lives) short entitled "The Last Of A Dying Breed”. He is also preparing for Desert Friends’ first single single of the year, “Go Coyote”, scheduled for Feb 27th, and their first performance at Más O Menos in Joshua Tree, California on March 1st.
