This West Coast home straddles a creek, which offers a natural water feature, tranquil in summer and rushing in winter. Maples, a bamboo, lots of azaleas, hostas, ferns and a large rhododendron cover the space.

Hayley Crichton is the chandler behind Happy Nomad Candles. Originally from South Africa, she has lived in England and New Zealand and has called Vancouver home for over twenty years. Hayley is a painter, lantern maker and fabric artist, amongst other interests.Happy Nomad Candles has been meticulously hand crafting candles since 2017. The collection includes scented soy container candles, tea lights, and 100% Canadian beeswax pillar candles. Additionally, they offer a diverse range of uniquely shaped candles, featuring mushrooms, gnomes, bees, and more! Their floral Spring collection features ombre candy hues. There are a variety of craft kits to choose from, including beeswax food wraps and rolled beeswax candles, as well as fire starters made from repurposed materials.As Hayley is a full time cat sitter, the sale of her Toe Beans candles generates funds to benefit cats in need.

Sylvester AGUDDAH is a prolific contemporary artist whose art is a growing interpretation of his love for Africa, interactions, experiences, human knowledge and Nature.He is a self- taught artist who began drawing from childhood and has been practicing for over thirty years. His art media include collage, mixed media, digital painting, sketches and photo art.His artworks are very unique, rich in colour and style and explores the beauty and rights of women with focus on gender equality, mental health, need for positivity and Nature.He has participated in over fifty exhibitions, fourty five were solo exhibitions, PADE by Ecobank Nigeria (2022), Felabration (2020, 2021, 2022), Africa Creative Market Global (2022), Breath of Hope Africa Gallery (2020).A very passionate artist, who seeks ways to better render his art, he has become more than a regular artist.Collectors of his works spread across Africa and Europe.

          Haig & Friends plays jazz all over Vancouver and the surrounding area, catering to jazz clubs, corporate events, weddings and private parties. Haig’s quartet ranges in musical styles from Swing, Blues, Bossa Nova and Jazz interpretations of pop tunes. Group leader, Haig Armen is a Jazz guitarist based in Vancouver, BC as well as a Professor at Emily Carr University where he researches the intersection of music and technology. Haig has recorded, composed and performed music for decades in Montreal, Toronto. Haig’s quartet play jazz standards along with original compositions and he currently working on a new album.

          HALF/ASIAN with Amy the CODA is a mixed race (Cantonese/British) musician making synth pop on an 80’s synth and a Child Of Deaf Adult singing and signing the lyrics in her mother tongue; sign language.

          They are an audio-visual performing duo creating art that is rooted in identity exploration and embodiment. HALF/ASIAN (Ian Griffiths a.k.a 卓民) plays synthesizers from the 80’s purchased at thrift stores and sings in English. Amy the CODA (Amy Braun) performs in her first language – Pidgin Signed English (A combination of ASL signs and English grammar and syntax). For Ian, it started with the purchase of a Yamaha PSR36 – and has grown into a distinct sound that pushes the boundaries of synthesizer programming – going beyond the parameters it was designed for. The lyricism ranges from fractured poetry to poignant storytelling and narratives.
