Calling All Community Members!

A membership with us supports accessible, engaging, creative, programming for our community. North Van Arts is a charitable, social-profit organization. Our mandate is to enable emerging and professional artists in all disciplines, bridge cultures and build strong and healthy communities through the arts. For over 50 years, North Van Arts has been a part of the North Shore Arts and culture scene.

Some of the many ways you may have engaged with us:

Enjoyed an opening reception or attended an exhibition at CityScape Community Art Space
Viewed the artwork on the second floor at the Lynn Valley Library, at North Vancouver District Hall, or North Vancouver City Hall
Attended a community event like, Arts in the Garden, North Shore Art Crawl, Trolley Dances, Art + Place and more
Took part in a virtual or in-person art class, artist demonstration or talk.
Created a work of art at our table at a community event (Shipyard Markets, Rivers Day, Earth Day, Carol Ships Festival, and many more)
School-age kids participating in after-school art at their school, exploring drama, visual art, writing and more

As a registered society we are mandated to have members under our by-laws. We like members, they help us stay connected to the community we serve. Not only are you helping support the organization when you become a member, but you are receiving added ‘services’ that benefit you as an individual.. For us, members are part of our ‘family’, we value your support and want to build a relationship with our member base.
