- 1-2pm: a hands-on drawing activity using various pencils and blending materials.The exercise will include drawing a simple form focusing on shadow, light and edges. You will learn the difference between hard and soft edges and the different ways types of shading, including hatching, cross-hatching and blending.
- 2-4pm: a demonstration on drawing in large-scale with pen and ink. Annette will be demonstrating her technique of line art. Drawing large-scale images without pencil guide lines and working with her entire arm to achieve long continuous lines to form her compositions.
