North Van Arts runs Camp Creative through-out the year on select Pro-D Days, Spring Break and Summer months at Maplewood House. Nestled within the trees, next to the Seymour River, this light- filled space is the perfect location for campers to connect with creativity in nature. Close by to Maplewood Farm, campers are often delighted to hear farmyard animal sounds throughout the day! Camp Creative is a wonderful opportunity for kids ages 6 – 11 years old to get messy, explore art, play in nature, and use the inspiration of the forest and the river to create various art projects.
Our summer camps are led by a professional instructor and supported by two dedicated assistants and a team of passionate volunteers. With a maximum of 12 participants per week, we ensure that every camper receives personalized attention, encouragement, and the freedom to explore their creativity.
Campers will delve into visual arts, drama, music, textile arts, nature-based projects, outdoor play, and more.
We are offering 6 weeks of summer camps in 2025. The camps run Monday – Friday | 8:30 am – 3:30pm | $395.
Registration opens early May.
