We are thrilled to invite you in celebrating the beauty that surrounds us through our Camp Creative: Natural Wonders, inspired by Place.
Get ready to ignite your young artists’ imaginations during this week-long camp. Our hand-crafted program offers an array of enchanting activities and immersive experiences tailored to inspire and captivate young minds.
Throughout the camp, participants will embark on a transformative exploration, venturing into various themes and mediums such as sculptures, painting, drawing, public art, site-specific art, felting, natural elements, movement, and clay. They will have the opportunity to bring to life nature’s suncatchers, whimsical painted leaf creatures, enchanting fairy houses, and even craft printmaking acorn necklaces. Engaging with the natural world, they will collect materials and create observational drawings inspired by the woodlands that surround us. A highlight of the camp includes the chance to delve into the tactile art of felting North Van animals!
As the week unfolds, your children’s artistic explorations will culminate in a grand end-of-week set in the nearby forest. This showcase will proudly unveil the culmination of their creative endeavors, offering a platform for them to shine and celebrate their newfound talents!
We invite you to join us for this immersive experience, where your young artists can freely explore their creativity and parents can marvel at the beautiful expressions of their children. It promises to be a week filled with inspiration, imagination, and pure joy.
Please send your camper with:
- face mask (advised only)
- lunch
- water bottle
- rain boots
- rain jacket
Age limit: We have designed this camp and employed instructors with experience working with the age range of 6-11 years old. Please do not sign up unless your child is 6+ or more on the day of camp.
This year we’re lucky to be offering 2 (30OFF) discounted tickets for this day camp through ‘NVCAC Children and Youth Arts Fund’. The funds are to be used as a subsidy to help offset ticket costs for our low-income families. If this doesn’t apply to you, please choose the full-price ticket option.

*Please be aware when booking camps, untimely cancellations might lead to missed opportunities for other families and lead to financial strain on our non-profit organization. We request you let us know promptly if you need to cancel or switch camps so we can make the necessary arrangements to fill the vacancy. A reminder cancellations will be charged a 30% administration fee to help offset staff time already incurred- see terms and conditions. Thanks for your understanding.
