We are thrilled to announce the highly anticipated Camp Creative: Mythical Creatures from Faraway Lands. Get ready to embark on a journey that will ignite your young artists’ creativity and take them on an immersive week-long adventure.
During this camp, we have an incredible lineup of activities and experiences designed to inspire and engage young minds. From exploring mythical creatures from faraway lands to diving into story and character building, and even creating unique Paper Mache masks and painting and decorating rocks collected from the great outdoors, every day will be filled with exciting opportunities for artistic expression.
Each day, we will be captivated by enchanting stories about different beasts such as centaurs, cyclops, dragons, gorgons, and mermaids. Inspired by these magical creatures, your children will have the chance to create their own legendary artworks using various mediums like acrylic paint, drawing, and mixed media.
As the week unfolds, your children’s artistic endeavors will come to life, leading up to an End of Week Forest Parade. This grand showcase will proudly display the culmination of their creative explorations, allowing them to shine and celebrate their newfound talents. It’s an event that you won’t want to miss!
We warmly invite you to join us for this immersive experience, where your young artists can freely explore their creativity and parents can marvel at the beautiful expressions of their children. It promises to be a week filled with inspiration, imagination, and pure joy.
Please send your camper with:
- face mask (advised only)
- lunch
- water bottle
- rain boots
- rain jacket
Age limit: We have designed this camp and employed instructors with experience working with the age range of 6-11 years old. Please do not sign up unless your child is 6+ or more on the day of camp.
This year we’re lucky to be offering 2 (30OFF) discounted tickets for this day camp through ‘NVCAC Children and Youth Arts Fund’. The funds are to be used as a subsidy to help offset ticket costs for our low-income families. If this doesn’t apply to you, please choose the full-price ticket option.

*Please be aware when booking camps, untimely cancellations might lead to missed opportunities for other families and lead to financial strain on our non-profit organization. We request you let us know promptly if you need to cancel or switch camps so we can make the necessary arrangements to fill the vacancy. A reminder cancellations will be charged a 30% administration fee to help offset staff time already incurred- see terms and conditions. Thanks for your understanding.
