Emma’s Program Highlights: Painting, Papier-mâché, Sandcastle sculpting on the beach, Masking Making, Drama games
Paige’s Program Highlights: Collaborative mixed media, Zine making, Puppet making
Each week is packed with a fun range of projects, including eco-inspired creations, clay sculpting, fabric dyeing with natural materials, puppet-making, zine creation, painting, stamping, tie-dye, felting, and weaving. Campers also enjoy drama games and music. No two weeks are the same, each session is uniquely shaped by the skills and passions of that week’s lead instructor.

What Your Child Will Experience
Campers will:
- Venture beyond the cabin on daily nature walks through the beautiful forest surrounding Maplewood House
- Hear the sounds of nearby farm animals and enjoy breaks in our private playground overlooking the neighbouring farm, home to many friendly goats
- Take part in our Thursday beach adventure, just minutes away near the scenic Seymour River
- Share their creations during our Friday afternoon mini-exhibition, families are invited to come early to celebrate all the creativity!
- Experience supportive camp sizes. Max number of participants is 12 kids.
- Be led by a professional instructor and supported by two dedicated assistants and a team of passionate volunteers, ensuring every camper receives personalized attention, encouragement, and the freedom to explore their creativity.
What to Bring
Daily Essentials:
- Nut-free lunch and snacks
- Reusable water bottle (labeled)
- Running shoes or sneakers (no flip-flops or sandals)
- Weather and art-making-appropriate clothing, including:
• Rain jacket and boots for wet days
• Sun hat and sunscreen for sunny days - Spare change of clothes
- Backpack to carry all items
- Any required medications:
• EpiPens, inhalers, or other essential items
• Allergy instructions or medical needs (please inform staff upon arrival) - Optional: comfort item for younger campers (please label)
Thursday Beach Day – Additional Items:
Each Thursday, we head out for a local beach walk near the Seymour River. Please pack:
- Towel
- Swimsuit or water-friendly clothing
- Water shoes or sandals with straps (no flip-flops)
For Parents
Friday Exhibition
Families are invited to come early on Friday at 2:30 PM for our end-of-week mini-exhibition to celebrate your child’s artwork! Please bring a bag to take all creations home.
Age Limit
This camp is designed for children aged 6–11. Please ensure your child is 6 years old or older on the day of camp before registering.
Waiver & Sign-In/Out Policy
- Parents/guardians will be required to sign a waiver on the first day.
- Daily sign-in and sign-out is required.
- Please inform us who will be picking up your child each day. ID is required for both drop-off and pick-up.
