Since its inception in February 2022, our monthly CityScape Date Night series has been a creative journey like no other. Every month, we’ve delved into a diverse range of artistic mediums, from acrylics to watercolors, upcycling to drag life drawing.

Date Nights are open to pairs of all kinds – friends, family members, partners, siblings, and more. It’s an enchanting evening designed to be shared with a special someone or even for a memorable first date. Of course, it’s perfectly splendid as a solo date night as well. We warmly welcome individuals to join us and unleash their creativity. Plus, we ensure all the necessary supplies are at your fingertips, and a complimentary drink awaits to enhance the experience. Join us in bringing your imagination to life!

“Create characters and scenes inspired by ancient Greek friezes and the Bayeux Tapestry. Use fabric techniques to craft your visual narrative in a horizontal band or panel style.”

You’ll dive into a two-hour adventure, using fabric paint, stitching, gluing, and more to bring characters and stories to life on pieces of cloth. During this creative journey, you’ll experiment with making things look 3D and discover unexpected combinations.

Working with textiles as the base or background, using; fabric painting, stitching, gluing, stuffing, drawing, appliqué, shape making, speech bubbles to story tell. Your creation won’t be finished during the workshop, but that’s okay because you can keep adding to it at home, like an ongoing story.”
