Since its inception in February 2022, our monthly CityScape Date Night series has been a creative journey like no other. Every month, we’ve delved into a diverse range of artistic mediums, from acrylics to watercolors, upcycling to drag life drawing.

Date Nights are open to pairs of all kinds – friends, family members, partners, siblings, and more. It’s an enchanting evening designed to be shared with a special someone or even for a memorable first date. Of course, it’s perfectly splendid as a solo date night as well. We warmly welcome individuals to join us and unleash their creativity. Plus, we ensure all the necessary supplies are at your fingertips, and a complimentary drink awaits to enhance the experience. Join us in bringing your imagination to life!

This art workshop offers the easiest and most gratifying creative experience you can imagine, without a doubt! Here, you’ll delve into the fundamentals of colour mixing, positive and negative space, texture, and the fascinating world of printmaking, all within an environment of fun and exploration. In this course, students will get acquainted with the essentials of the monoprinting process using a gelatin plate – yes, a gelatin-based plate that serves as a resilient canvas for water-based paints. We’ll also delve into color layering, the use of assorted stencils and stamping templates, allowing you to craft beautifully textured, hand-pulled prints on paper.
Each of your unique prints will be cut into squares and transformed into a charming accordion-style booklet, perfect for practical use or display.

Whether you’re new to this medium or have some prior experience, rest assured that clear instructions will guide you through the process. Even if you don’t consider yourself an artist, this Date Night is designed for you – no prior artistic skills are necessary!

This workshop is a dynamic and collaborative space where artists come together to share their ideas, color palettes, and texture templates. The goal is to create a one-of-a-kind art project that’s not only fun but also easy to recreate and share with others in the future. To support your journey, we will provide additional resources, including books and online content, along with a comprehensive handout.
