Creative Writing Club

Wake Cook
3:00pm - 5:30pm
Jan 18 – Mar 8, 2022
grades 5-7

Explore different styles of storytelling, including short stories and graphic novels. Our instructor is a writer and illustrator, who is excited to lead this journey into the unknown. Learn about character development, story structure, and principles of graphic storytelling. Bring your great ideas and develop them into a full story that you can share with friends and family.

Students will be picked up outside Queen Mary school and walked to the class by their instructor. This program is offered as a “club” so there will be plenty of unstructured social time and relaxing after school. From 3-4 they will have free play time, instruction is from 4-5, and pick up is from 5:00 – 5:30.

Please send students with a water bottle and snack, and make sure students are prepared for all weather.

Ticket sales will open early December
