Fabric Printing

Mariana Frochtengarten
Maplewood House
Fridays,12:30pm - 2:30pm
Oct 29 – Nov 26 2021 (5 weeks)

In this 5 week program, participants will focus on the creative process of surface design, create patterns based on personal inspirations, make their own stamps and explore different ways to print on fabric. Instructor will show several ways in which stamps can be made and teach basic principles for a good quality printing. Participants will work on squares of fabric and will produce a large canvas bag. (This program is a great add on if you take the Shibori course, as both can be combined and produce beautiful results).

All supplies are included in course fee

Please note that in accordance with current Public Health Orders, all participants will be required to wear masks while indoors.

North Van Arts is committed to offering accessible pricing for our arts education classes. There are a limited number of tickets available at a discounted rate – so you decide what works for you. If you can afford the full price, please leave the discounted 30OFF option for those who can really benefit from it.
