Instructor: Sydney Tough
Through painting, drawing and mixed media, students will learn a variety of studio-based visual art practices and techniques from a professional artist. Students will be encouraged to express themselves creatively and learn about art making as a process through different projects, mediums and methods. Fundamentals like the principles and elements of art will be covered.
REFUND POLICY
The North Vancouver Community Arts Council reserves the right to cancel any class which does not meet a minimum enrollment prior to the start date. In the event of class cancellation, students will be notified by phone and/or email. If a class is cancelled by the North Vancouver Community Arts Council, a full refund will be given.
WITHDRAWALS
Withdrawals from classes, camps and workshops is permitted up to five business days prior to the start of the class. All refunds are subject to an administration fee of 20% of the class fee or $10 (whichever is greater). All withdrawals or requests for transfers must be made through the NVCAC office by contacting info@northvanarts.ca or 604-988-6844. Students cancelling fewer than five business days before the start of class will not receive a refund (exemptions made for medical reasons accompanied by a doctor’s note.) The NVCAC is not responsible for classes missed by the student. Missed classes cannot be transferred, made-up, or carried to other sessions.
LATE REGISTRATION
Provided that there is still space in a class, registration is accepted after the first class has already taken place.
Parents Please Note: You will be charged a $25 supervision fee if you are more than 15 minutes late for pickup.
