Intro/Continuing Watercolour

Saturdays, February 1st–22nd
This class focuses on building a solid foundation in watercolour techniques through a variety of exercises. It is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for beginners but suitable for all levels. The Intro class covers foundational basics, which are always beneficial to revisit, helping participants gain confidence with the medium before moving on to more specific themes.

Continuing Watercolour
Saturdays, March 1st–22nd
Building on the foundational techniques covered in February, this class delves into the subject of birch trees. In the first session, we’ll break down the birch tree subject into essential watercolour techniques—providing a helpful review for returning students and a solid starting point for new participants. Over the course of the class, you’ll create three complete paintings, each highlighting a unique aspect of this serene and inspiring theme. By the end, you’ll have a visual library of techniques applied to the birch tree subject.

Please note: You must complete the Intro class before booking the Continuing Watercolour class. If you took the Intro class in Fall 2024, you can register directly for the Continuing class. The Intro class covers the foundational basics, which are always beneficial to revisit. Feel free to join both the Intro and Continuing sessions—experienced artists will still gain valuable insights and refine their techniques.
