Online Sale until Saturday, December 18 at 5pm
We are thrilled to host the 18th Anonymous Art Show showcasing original artwork from emerging and established artists. 365 local artists have created 740 original artworks for the North Van Art’s annual festive fundraiser. CityScape Community ArtSpace will be transformed into a kaleidoscopic world of wonderment comprised of hundreds of small 8” x 8” canvases, come and find the one that speaks to you, and support your local art community with every artwork you buy. The proceeds from this festive fundraiser provide significant support to ongoing North Van Arts’ programmes and projects while also showcasing local artists in the community. The artists remain anonymous until their work sells for $100 each, with the artist and North Van Arts each sharing 50% of the sale. Once a painting is purchased, it is removed from the wall and replaced with a sold tag, revealing the artist’s name.
Last year Anonymous Art Show moved online; the move was a resounding success and gave many more people access to viewing and buying artwork. This year the exhibition will be installed at CityScape Community ArtSpace, with in-person preview and exhibition viewing with purchasing remaining exclusively online.

Covid-19 has impacted the art sector, our local artists, and the art community. This fundraiser will support local artists and our organization. This year, we aim to match last year’s $46,000 and your $100 artwork will go a long way to creating a vibrant cultural art legacy for the North Shore. When you purchase art through the online sale, please consider adding a donation to your shopping cart. For donations outside of Anonymous Art Show, and to learn more about how your donation helps, please visit our Canada Helps Page.
