About the North Shore Art Crawl

The North Shore Art Crawl is a free community arts event that celebrates the creative energy of our local artists and enables cultural vitality. The objective is to feature artists in approachable and accessible art venues that encourage the community to connect and celebrate expression and diversity. We engage, inspire, and transform the North Shore through inclusive alliances among artists and the community.

Discover Dotillism

Dot Artist, Kim Mackay guided the creation of celebratory Canada painted stones.

Kim’s painted dots play on the colour and shape of a stone canvas.  Her designs are created with mandala dotting tools, in styles that incorporate the shape, colour and texture of each stone with the shape and colours of the dots.  The result is oddly natural and unnatural at the same time.   The process is relaxing and soothing.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Lions Gate and the North Vancouver Recreation & Culture Commission for organizing the event and inviting us to participate!
