Arts in the Garden 2022
May 28th & 29th, 2022
In 2022, Arts in the Garden returned in-person, with visual artists, musicians and performers bringing their creativity and energy to twelve garden spaces across the North Shore. This event was especially memorable for being the first year performances and art demonstrations and activities were hosted in-person. Arts in the Garden 2022 also featured a partner programme, Feathers and Fungi, which explored the relationship between birds and mycelium, located at Maplewood Flats in partnership with Wild Bird Trust.

Art in the Garden Online 2020
Due to risks brought on by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) Art in the Garden 2020 was transformed into an online platform. We hope this unique edition provided visual artists and musicians an opportunity to reach out to their audiences, and for audiences to experience some local talent, staying connected in these uncertain times. For the month of May, we posted videos of musicians and artists in their gardens, or showing us how they are inspired by nature, on YouTube and Instagram. We also hosted live-stream art & music collaborations on the original weekend scheduled for Art in the Garden via Instagram. Artists responded and create two artworks inspired by live music performances all performed from their own, separate outdoor spaces. Event schedule and feature artists. Event web site.
