The 2021 North Shore Art Crawl will introduce a long-weekend hybrid event. Artists can open your studio, gallery or third party venue for In-person scheduled visits to the public, or extend your art practice out to the digital world with an Enhanced Online presence. The Crawl spans the North Shore from Lions Bay to Deep Cove, and the World-Wide Web. To participate in the 2021 edition, complete the online registration form at the bottom of this page. Please be aware that the information you enter will be used in the Art Crawl Brochure, make sure it is accurate. Once you submit your registration form, you will be redirected to the payment page.

What Does Registration Include?

With the recent changes to our world, we are evolving the 2021 Art Crawl to equip artists with the tools to navigate their new environment. In-person appointments and at-home web-browsing will allow more time for safe interactions with visitors and more opportunities for online discoveries. This year, our hope is to facilitate meaningful engagements and intentional connections. Due to the adaptation of the plans for the North Shore Art Crawl, timelines will be shorter for registration. To assist with the application process, we are providing all artists with a registration checklist and resources for writing an artist statement and photographing your work.

 All Registrants will receive:

• A listing in the printed & digital brochure.
• Online artist profile on North Van Arts’ website (includes 3 images, artist bio, and online links).
• Marketing and publicity for the event, and engagement of community partners to assist in promotion. North Van Arts’ website has an average of 30,000 views per month from the North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and Vancouver region, as well as over 10,000 followers on North Van Art’s social media, 3000 e-bulletin subscribers, and over 25 virtual online listings.
• Promotional toolkit: including brochure, poster, digital invitation, social media guidance (sample posts, suggestions to increase audience & reach, hashtags).

Enhanced Online Art Crawl Registrants will receive:

• NEW: Custom webpage to tell the story of your studio practice, including your bio, artist statement, quotes, and photographs of yourself, your studio and artwork (see example here).*
• NEW: Promotional Expansion Pack with tips to online success including:
  • Additional marketing resources to improve your artist branding
  • Resources for set-up/increase of online sales
  • Resources for building 3D images of studios
    * All Enhanced Online Art Crawl Registrants must submit their webpage content upon registration.

In-person Art Crawl Registrants will receive:

• Location point on map, online & in print.
• NEW: Access to online appointment booking system to schedule in-person studio visits*.
• NEW: COVID-19 Safety Toolkit and studio signage**.
• Assistance with finding venues for those that do not have studio spaces.
• NEW: Promotional Expansion Pack with tips to in-person success including:
  • Additional marketing resources to improve your artist branding
  • Resources to enhance your in-person sales experience
    * All In-person Art Crawl Registrants must have their studios open all 3 days of the Crawl.
    ** All In-person Art Crawl Registrants must agree they will ensure COVID-19 protocols will be followed
