Carol Demers’ work is strongly influenced by daily hikes in the surrounding forests and time spent by the ocean. Carol’s mixed media paintings are comprised from oils, pigments, plaster, and encaustic. In contrast, her ceramic compositions are comprised of organic sculptural forms that have been coil built, smoothed, burnished, and finally smoke fired.  Demers’ practices out of Gleneagles Pottery Studio in West Vancouver.
