Bring a photocopy of a Family Portrait and learn how to draw, paint, and extend the picture. Led by Photobase artist Dona Nabata, participants will draw, paint, and manipulate their own photo. Working with old images can bring awareness of family stories, and participants can discover the past through a new lens.
This free, hands-on activity complements the Photobase: Re-Imagined Memories exhibition currently showing at CityScape Community Art Space.
