When Miaad designs his artwork, it is the representation of his feelings and emotions toward that piece. These Zippers are a symbol of the connection between Miaad and the surrounding world. Miaad uses different metal smiting techniques to create each unique fine silver sculptural work.

Miaad is a Persian/ Canadian artist born in 1975, who believes the beauty of each art work should be exploring the energy and feelings bestowed upon us and our surrounding by the great Creator. Miaad has been passionate about art and design since childhood, and he began exploring the art of jewelry and sculpture after high school. After graduating from Jewelry Art and Design from Vancouver Community College, he opened an art studio in North Vancouver. Miaad has participated in a number of exhibitions in Canada and other countries.
