The coming together of these cast away objects into the wholeness of human form is a metaphor for the human condition and the mix of psychological materials and memories that compose who we are. Seeing past the utilitarian role of objects, looking at shapes and discerning how they are made, recognizing in objects parts of human form, the characters come together. Each piece keeps its original identity, but together the parts become whole people.
