Join artist, ethnobotanist and educator T’uy’t’tanat-Cease Wyss on an interactive, guided forest walk. As we feel out the forest, sensitizing ourselves to the land, we will bring ourselves to a place of listening and witnessing. We will learn what it means to be stewards of the forest, and how to join our voices in solidarity with the land.

Meet us outside the Lynn Valley Ecology Centre on Thursday, August 26 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. We invite you to click to register below, although rest assured no one will be turned away.

This event is held as an interactive component to the exhibition Stalkaya – Ḵ’elhmáy̓/X̱ápay̓ay, which features the video “SANCTUARY: The Dakota Bear Ancient Forest Experience,” created by Cease Wyss, Damien Gillis and Olivier Leroux. You can visit the exhibition for free at CityScape Community ArtSpace until September 4. Visit the exhibition page.
