Online sales continue until december 17 at 5pm
Support your local art community with every $100 artwork you buy, and help us reach our goal of a record $50,000!
We are thrilled to host the 19th Anonymous Art Show showcasing original artwork from emerging and established artists. Over 350 local artists have created 738 original artworks for North Van Art’s annual festive fundraiser. CityScape Community ArtSpace will be transformed into a kaleidoscopic world of wonderment comprised of hundreds of small 8” x 8” canvases. Come and find your favourite, and support your local art community with every artwork you buy. The proceeds from this festive fundraiser provide significant support to ongoing North Van Arts’ programmes and projects while also showcasing local artists in the community. The artists remain anonymous until their work sells for $100 each, with the artist and North Van Arts each sharing 50% of the sale. Once a painting is purchased, it is removed from the wall and replaced with a sold tag, revealing the artist’s name.
This year, we are hoping that the Anonymous Art Show will raise $50,000 for North Van Arts and local artists. Together, let’s make this the most successful Anonymous Art Show yet!
The exhibition will be installed at CityScape Community ArtSpace, you can view the artwork online or in-person.
Confused about how this all works? See the ONLINE BUYING GUIDE to make your buying experience simple and fun! Artwork purchased online will need to be picked up at CityScape Community ArtSpace or be shipped with Canada Post (additional costs apply). If you are not able to access online viewing/purchasing, please contact us at 604-988-6844 during office hours for assistance. Please note: The first night of the online sale, telephone assistance (604 988 6844) will be available Thursday, November 24 between 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Please note CityScape Community ArtSpace will be closed for in-person assistance during this time.
The deadline to pick up your purchased artwork is Thursday, December 23rd at 4pm.
There are many fabulous 3D and multi-layered works this year, and even a painting can’t ever be perfectly captured in a digital format; we invite and encourage you to come by the gallery to view the artwork in-person, on our walls! We look forward to seeing you here.
