About the North Shore Art Crawl

The North Shore Art Crawl is a free community arts event that celebrates the creative energy of our local artists and enables cultural vitality. The objective is to feature artists in approachable and accessible art venues that encourage the community to connect and celebrate expression and diversity. We engage, inspire, and transform the North Shore through inclusive alliances among artists and the community.

What is this information used for?

North Van Arts collects information from surveys, such as the Arts in the Garden Visitor’s Survey, for two primary reasons: 1) to gather statistics that help us with funding and grants 2) to connect with visitors and work towards improving our programming to ensure we are serving our community as best we can.

Information such as your postal code, age group, and your overall experience of the event helps us tell our funders which demographics our programming serves, and how we are working towards building a sense of community through the arts.

Your feedback regarding your experience of the event, such as the elements you most appreciated, or some ways we can improve, are taken seriously into consideration when planning future events and programming. Your responses to personal questions, such as those regarding your gender, the languages you are comfortable speaking, and whether your accessibility needs were met, helps us better understand our audience so that we can continue adapting and shaping our programming to better suit people’s needs, as part of our ongoing goal to create comfortable and safe environments that foster creativity and connection
