Find Your Host Venue

Many artists choose to display their work in host venues for the North Shore Art Crawl, locating themselves in an active neighbourhood and deepening relationships with community organizations and local businesses.

This page shows local organizations and businesses who are keen to host an artist for this year’s event.

You can learn more about finding a host venue through the resources linked below.

How to Use this Page: Finding and Booking Your Host Venue

This page is here to help artists learn what host venues are available, what they have to offer, and to communicate with other artists and with North Van Arts that their venue is booked.

There are two very important guidelines you need to know when using this page:

1) BOOKING A HOST VENUE ON THIS PAGE DOES NOT SECURE YOU THE VENUETo secure your venue, you must talk to them, confirm their interest, and submit your artist registration along with their signed host venue agreement formYou will not be able to register for the Art Crawl without this signed form.

2) DO NOT BOOK A VENUE ON THIS PAGE UNTIL YOU HAVE THEIR CONFIRMATION. Booking a venue confirms to North Van Arts and to participating artists that you will be displaying your artwork at this space. Once you have booked it, it becomes unavailable to other artists, and we will start to programme you into the space. Do not book a venue until you have confirmation from the host that they will be hosting you for the weekend.

Steps for booking a venue

Read through the steps below to learn about how to use this page to find and secure your host venue.

Explore Your Options

Some venues have space to host just one artist, and others have space to host multiple. Use the ‘capacity’ section of the form to check if a space still has room for an artist. The first number indications how many spaces are booked, and the second number indications how many spaces total are available. If it reads 0/3, that means there are still three spaces available. If it reads 3/3, that means the space is booked.
