Anna Lynch

Aranza Bergés Navarrete

Aranza Bergés Navarrete is a Vancouver-based experimental animator and graduate of Emily Carr University of Art + Design. At Date Nights she leads flipbook workshops exploring animation and storytelling through accessible, hands-on creative sessions.

Working across date nights, adult courses, and children’s camps (Cityscape Papier-Mâché Vase; Quick-Dry Clay: Historical and Contemporary Forms; Camp Creative). I am an artist and educator based in North Vancouver with a background in museum and material-based creative practice. My work explores making as a tactile process of memory, transformation, and sustainability, designing workshops that encourage experimentation, play, and inclusive creative expression.

Emma Fish is our courses and workshops instructor with North Van Arts, leading date-night acrylic cityscapes and children’s programs. She is an emerging British Columbia–based artist whose landscape-inspired work connects community, creativity, and sustainability.

Sophia Longo has been running our popular Continuing Watercolour class since 2023, attracting regular participants. A visual artist from Brazil, she teaches at North Van Arts and explores themes of interconnectedness through nature and memory in her work.

Music Instructor: Camp Creative

Sydney Tough is the longest-running children’s camp instructor at Camp Creative, bringing years of leadership to its Summer Camps, courses, and workshops. A graduate of Capilano University with a Bachelor of Jazz and Education, she is a bassist, vocalist, composer, and visual artist passionate about inspiring young creators through music and fine arts.
