About the Artist

Amanda is an artist based in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Inspired by her outdoor adventures and her intuition, she paints landscapes, seascapes and abstracts in acrylic and mixed media. She channels her passion for visual storytelling and a deep understanding of design principles, acquired through her education in Graphic Design. Growing up in Ontario, Amanda chased breathtaking sunsets over the expanse of Lake Huron and discovered she is drawn to capturing moments like those. This passion for the natural landscape propelled her to move to British Columbia in 2021. She wanted to experience coastal living and mountain adventures, which became the catalyst for her profound connection with the art of landscape and abstract painting. Her work captures the vibrant colours, emotions and fleeting moments that ignite a sense of wonder and awe. Amanda’s art inspires the viewer to venture into the great outdoors to embark on a journey of exploration and discovery.
