About the Artist

Caroline was born and raised in North Vancouver, BC and lives in Lynn Valley with her husband and two sons. She has a wide variety of styles from textured seascapes, colourful nature and forest scenes, florals to large textured abstracts. She is a bit of an artistic rule breaker and doesn’t like being defined by one style as she feels it is constricting. Her process is driven by heart and spirit. She threw herself into painting in 2009 while in deep grief after the sudden loss of her younger sister. She found that there was only one way to process her grief and that was going straight through it. Painting lessons became her therapy. Today she likes to paint it forward, teaching beginner students and conducting paint parties.
