About the Artist

Gail Coney has been creating colourful, vibrant, unique, hand painted functional glassware and stoneware pottery for many years, She has participated in numerous craft fairs in Vancouver, Vancouver Island and was a regular at the Salt Spring Island Market for 10 years as well as being a part of the Salt Spring Island Studio Tour. Gail's passion for painting glassware and stoneware was instilled in her at an early age. Her colour palette is rich and vibrant and she includes designs and details inspired by the years spent in South Africa and her life in Canada. She has always had a love for bright, vibrant colour, something that is evident the minute you step into her bright, colour saturated studio in Deep Cove, North Vancouver. This rainbow of colour will compliment any home. She has many regular visitors to her studio in Deep Cove, eager to add another "Happy bowl" to their own collection or to choose that unique gift.
