About the Artist

Griffin Art Projects (GRIFFIN) is a non-profit art residency and gallery located in North Vancouver devoted to supporting artists in the production of new work through its residency program, and in creating new research on contemporary Canadian and international art, artists and art collections from around the world in its exhibition program. GRIFFIN is a non-collecting institution that has quickly become a vibrant contributor to the North Vancouver cultural landscape and visual art practices in the region through its exhibitions, residency, and public programs. Griffin Art Projects' exhibitions and events are always free and open to all to attend.

Public Transit

From Vancouver:
240 Lynn Valley Bus — get off at Eastbound Marine Dr @ Pemberton Ave, then walk ~10 mins.

From Phibbs Exchange or Lonsdale Quay:
R2 Park Royal Bus — get off at Westbound Marine Dr @ Pemberton Ave, then walk ~10 mins.

Walking from the bus to the gallery:
Walk south on Pemberton Avenue until reaching Welch St. Turn left on Welch St and proceed to the gallery.


From the Lionsgate Bridge:
After crossing the bridge, follow the BC-1A N/BC-99 N as it curves right, then take a sharp right. Proceed onto the Spirit Trail and follow it all the way to the gallery.

From Lonsdale Quay:
Turn right at Chadwick Ct (the loop next to the seabus terminal), then turn left on the Spirit Trail. Follow the Spirit Trail until reaching the gallery.


Griffin Art Projects is easily accessed from Marine Drive in North Vancouver. Turn onto Pemberton Ave and proceed south, then turn left on Welch St.

Free street parking is available.
