About the Artist

June Corstorphine brings energy, color and passion, together creating captivating florals and fluid abstracts. "Welcome to my beautifully pigmented, joyous world of alcohol inks! They are a relatively new medium - acid-free and permanent creating luminous effects when blended together. I am reveling in the spontaneity of the inks and the happy accidents that can result." Alcohol inks are dynamic and interactive - a dance between the artist and medium creating glorious layers of transparency. "Ink is challenging to control, however the effects are captivating and spirited and colors are vibrant and full of life. "The transcendent aspect of nature has a strong impact on my work. My aim is not to reproduce, but to see beyond into the essence or spirit. My sincere desire is to inspire and uplift others." https://www.instagram.com/flowing_from_grace https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/ThresholdPaperArt 604.987.1241 As seen in House & Garden magazine.
