The North Shore Art Crawl is a free community event that celebrates the creative energy of local artists. The event features artists in approachable venues all throughout the North Shore, inviting community to engage with and learn about their practices. The North Shore Art Crawl energizes and inspires community through uplifting the arts.

About the Artist

Nilufar Moayeri is a painter and art instructor with more than 20 years of practice. Nilufar was born in Tehran but spent most of her life in Turkey, where she eventually became one of that country’s most prominent artists and art educators. She started studying art at a very young age and began to realize her deep connection to visual arts. She holds a BA in painting from Mimar Sinan University, an MFA in Fashion Design, and PhD in Cinema & TV from Beykent University. She has taught drawing, painting, and mixed media visual arts for more than 20 years. Nilufar immigrated to Canada in 2007, where she continues her creative journey and teach and share her unique methods and principles of artistic self-expression through drawing, painting, and mixed media classes with interested individuals in her North Vancouver Art Studio.
