About the Artist

I am an Iranian-Canadian artist who weaves together diverse cultural influences, a passion for craftsmanship, technology, and architecture to create unique and innovative works. Born into a family of architects in Tehran, Iran, I was immersed in the rich architectural heritage of my country from a young age. After completing my studies in mathematics at Sharif University in Tehran, I embarked on a life-changing journey to Canada. However, the path was tinged with sorrow as I tragically lost my father in a car accident just before my move. Despite this heartbreak, I persevered, and with a resilient spirit, I settled in Vancouver, where I initially found work in the retail industry. Driven by an innate creativity and a desire for a more fulfilling career, I made the pivotal decision to return to school. Fuelled by my passion for design, I pursued Environmental Design at UBC, and later, I completed my Masters in Architecture at the University of Toronto. These academic pursuits provided
