About the Artist

Various palette knives create bold works with luscious colours and energetic movement. Imagery is nature-based, and plays with the unexpected! Sue Des Lauriers is a Creative Director with 20+ years of experience in the CPG industry. In 2017 she switched gears and took a palette knife in hand and never looked back. A supporter of the arts and former public art advisor in her West Coast city, her work revolves around imagery and imagination found in Canada, on the land and sea. She is enraptured with colour experimentation and the movement of paint on the canvas. Awarded West Vancouver Community Foundation Grant
