About the Artist

Tim was born in England and moved to Canada in 1970. Growing up in Ottawa, he started painting watercolours as a teenager. Tim has painted in this medium ever since. He is continually improving and evolving his technique, taking courses at Emily Carr and other institutions. Over the years, his subject matter has included landscapes, architecture and portraits. He loves the challenges and rewards of watercolours, using the light and transparency of the medium to capture a moment in time. Tim’s past exhibitions include the Harmony Arts Festival since 2015-2022, West Van City Hall Art in the Hall 2018 (solo show), North Van Arts Crawl 2019-2020, Hollyburn Eye Clinic Watercolour Visions of the North Shore 2019 (solo show) and The West Fine Arts Show 2019. He had an ongoing exhibition through 2022 at BlueShore Financial. His paintings have been juried into many exhibitions at the Federation Gallery in Granville Island. Tim is a Signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
