About the Artist

Wanda Doyle is a local artist, born and raised in Vancouver. She lives and works on the North Shore. The awesome local vistas along with the beautiful settings to which she's travelled provide plenty of inspiration and subject matter for her paintings. Having started as a self-taught artist, Wanda has since attended many inspirational workshops. She is motivated by both her peers and a desire for learning. Her paintings reflect her need for variety and renewal and she is equally comfortable wielding a paint brush or palette knife, using oils or acrylics. A very active volunteer and member in artist groups since 2004, Wanda is currently active with the North Shore Artists' Guild and has held Board and organizational roles. Her paintings have appeared in local newspapers, galleries, cafes, offices, one-day events, calendars and fundraisers in both juried and non-juried shows, from Vancouver to Whistler.
