Where does the money from my registration fee go?

To North Van Arts, who manages the North Shore Art Crawl. Registration fees are essential to covering the cost of the event, which includes administrative costs (staff time, tech support, etc), printing costs (promotional signage, directional signage, event guides, posters, etc), and marketing costs (graphic design, print ads, digital ads, social media boosted posts, and more).

North Van Arts spends over $15,000 on marketing alone for the North Shore Art Crawl, in order to promote and highlight the work of participating artists. Your registration fee that involves you in the Art Crawl allows you to benefit from the result of over $15,000 worth of advertising. The North Shore Art Crawl’s marketing includes:

      • Thousands of printed brochures
      • Hundreds of posters
      • Over a thousand invite cards
      • Directional and promotional signage
      • Print ads in local newspapers
      • Digital ads
      • Social media ads

North Van Arts also provides participating artists with promotional toolkits, offers navigation tools online and in print, assists with finding venues for those who don’t have exhibition spaces, works with community partners to promote the event, and much more!
