Joan Boxall is a creative non-fiction writer who taught English, French and PE to teens in Cranbrook and Delta. She acquired a TESL certificate in adult education and worked with Canadian newcomers at the North Vancouver School District.
She contributes her creative non-fiction work (true stories, well told) to Inspired 55+ Lifestyle Magazine.
DrawBridge: Drawing Alongside My Brother’s Schizophrenia (Caitlin Press) is her first book and pays tribute to her late brother, Stephen A. Corcoran, whose art has been part of North Van Arts’ Art Rental Program for nearly a decade.
