Afra Khakzad is a visual artist based in West Vancouver with a PhD in Philosophy of Art, a Master’s degree in Art Research, and a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. Her paintings explore themes of identity, time, and transformation, often drawing inspiration from memory, symbolism, and cultural echoes. Through layered compositions and narrative elements, she invites viewers into poetic and introspective spaces that reflect both personal and collective experiences.
She has held a solo exhibition and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and art fairs in Iran, Turkey, Italy, the United States, and Canada.
