A self-declared “British craft nerd,” Anna Lynch moved to Canada in 2010, where she pursued a career as both a professional artist and arts advocate. With a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production and an artistic career in textiles, Anna brings a diverse understanding of art beyond the canvas to her practices.
Using techniques like weaving, felting, knitting, and beading, she explores the textures of the natural world with unique, tactile pieces that celebrate both craft and environment.
You may know Anna in her role as Executive Director at North Van Arts, but she is also a seasoned textiles instructor, teaching popular needle felting, weaving and knitting throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor, in her spare time.
