I am a Canadian Artist living in North Vancouver, British Columbia. I studied Fine Arts as well as Clay and Fibre at Capilano College graduating in 1981.
I am active in the Vancouver and North Vancouver Art Communities and participate in the East-side Culture Crawl in Vancouver and North Shore Art Crawl, North Vancouver Community Arts Council’s Art Rental Program and First Saturday Open Studios. I have a home studio in North Vancouver and a studio located at #280 1000 Parker St. Vancouver.
Drawing is the core to my work, whether it be drawing with ink and pencil on paper or drawing directly into wet paint. I like to combine a variety of materials and techniques.
I am inspired by my beautiful west coast surroundings, often focusing on small things in the garden and landscape, including plants I have tended to. I go out into the garden and landscape to draw and paint throughout the year, recording life in the ever changing garden.
