Emma Fish draws deep inspiration from nature, guided by her love of snowboarding and connection to the mountains. Since moving from Australia to British Columbia in 2016, she has merged the vibrancy of her Australian roots with the majestic Canadian landscapes. Her artwork, filled with vivid colours and emotions, has been featured in galleries and museums across the province, including The Chilliwack Museum, The Galley George, and Center A. In 2024 piece “Home” served as the cover image for the North Shore Art Crawl as well as being featured in Art Journal and international art magazine. She had a four page interview in issue nine.
As a emerging artist, Emma Fish has developed several series that explore the beauty of Canadian landscapes in depth. She has embraced sustainability by creating works entirely from recycled plywood and painting pieces directly in the forest. Her solo exhibition with North Van Arts’ Art in the Community Project continues to bring her art into the public spotlight, with a long-term display through Blueshore Financial’s Art in View Project.
Emma is also the founder of ”A World of Fish Creations”, an outdoor art brand dedicated to making art affordable and sustainable. The brand offers hand-painted earrings and prints available in local gift shops like Favourite Gifts at Lonsdale Quay and Willow and Wallflower in Coquitlam, as well as online, ensuring her art is accessible to the Greater Vancouver community and beyond.
