Gina is a long-standing member of both the North Van Art (NVA) & Cityscapes gallery, and she is also an “Active Member” of the Federation of Canadian Artists (AFCA) & gallery Vancouver.
Her passion for art shows in the body of her work, with hundreds of paintings predominantly focusing on people, as she so often says…”I paint us.” Her style is new-impressionism and her current medium of choice leans to acrylics, on canvas or wood sub-straits. Although, most of her large format hyper-realism portraiture is oil on canvas, painted in an old world style, and is the foundation of her current creations.
Gina’s most recent work, will take you on a whimsical journey into the lives of extraordinary people, anyone and everyone, capturing history in the making. Bright colorful storytelling, that uplifts and connects us all, as she leaves behind a modern day footprint in time.
Recently, Gina was commissioned to create several paintings to be included with a very prestigious private art collection of paintings; painted by a vast majority of the world’s most famous painters’. In all, the collection has over 40,000 paintings, some dating back over 900 years, with appreciation and care for preserving the arts for many generations to come. A wonderful experience, accomplishment and legacy for her as an fine Artist.
