Born and raised in Vancouver, I have grown up appreciating the diverse and colourful landscape. My love for the arts began early and lead me to a major in Art History with a specialization in Asian Art and a minor in Sociology at UBC. I enjoy sharing my love for the arts through arts programs for kids. I have several years of experience of working with children in arts programs to develop their ability to express themselves and their ideas. Starting from high school with after-school arts programs to working as a Program Coordinator at Port Moody Art Centre. In my free time I enjoy crocheting, knitting, painting, designing and writing creative stories. I believe that art is an amazing proactive way of bringing the community together and creating positive change for children and youth.
Kirith will be teaching The Magical World of Colour August 3-6, 2021 at Camp Creative.
