What You Will SeeAfter years of painting large, bold flowers in acrylic, I discovered silk painting, and fell totally in love with it. Now my flowers and other nature scenes are on silk, either as wall paintings, or wearable art such as dresses, shirts and scarves, or as functional art such as cushion covers, and room dividers. Painting on silk is a wonderful, very gratifying experience. To see how the paint flows across the silk until it reaches the resist line can be quite fascinating to watch. You can create vibrant colours, muted pastels, detailed work, or abstract designs. The potential is limitless.
