Scottish born Lorna is a textile artist, whose unique approach to collage and stitch, allows her work to bring an artistic conversation to a space. Her pillows are a soft canvas bursting with color, texture, pattern, inspired by people, places, and the beauty of nature.
Since graduating from the Glasgow school of Art in the late 80s, Lorna has sold her work in stores from Liberty, London to Bergdorf Goodman NYC. She has also created several large scale public artworks for libraries, schools and hospitals around London.
Lorna, now sells her work from her studio in North Vancouver and from a variety of stores in BC and beyond. She runs creative workshops for adults and youth and regularly gives talks on her 35 year adventure in stitch.
