There is no shortage of inspiration in the west coast landscape. A native of Montreal, Quebec, with an earlier career in illustration and design, I have lived and painted in my home studio, adjacent to the Capilano River Canyon in North Vancouver for 30 years. In addition to painting the spectacular B.C. landscape including North Vancouver, the Southern Gulf Islands and the Discovery Islands, I have a passion for portraiture and have completed many commissions over the years, shown my portraits in various national shows, and even won some awards. I hike every day in the Capilano River Regional Park with my Springer Spaniel Sargent. My most recent paintings are of the River Canyon, Cleveland Lake and the surrounding mountains.
